You don't need to imagine, it's real life and it's right here!
There were a few striking images taken on this day, some of which we have featured below, but for this article, I'm going to introduce you to 'Palm Bay Bliss' :)
Palm Bay is part of Long Island. At 9km's long and only 400m wide at its widest point, it's a uniquely shaped island that creates some wonderful, if tricky, angles to capture.
It’s one of the prettiest islands in the Whitsundays region (but let's be honest, they're all pretty!). Long is also known for its natural beauty with its relatively untouched 20km's of tropical rainforest walks.
And it also has 3 amazing resorts. There is Elysian Resort, Long Island Resort, and this little gem you can see in this image, Palm Bay Resort.
A little background story about this shoot, as it was a special request from a local gentleman wanting a photo of Palm Bay Resort for his parents, for their anniversary. What a son!
It took a few months to get all the stars to align, and even though the weather was on my side, getting this shot took a few ups and downs, round and rounds to get the angle I wanted (thank you Pilot). And we got there in the end!
What do you think?
I am so pleased it came together and I was able to create this new Palm Bay collection.
