Travelling through Portugal’s iconic cities and rugged coastline, with a brief interlude in Mallorca and Barcelona allowed me the wonderful opportunity to capture a range of prints, that I am now pleased to share with you.
It was November: cool air, cloudy skies, and that peaceful, reflective feeling once the crowds have gone.
November in Lisbon has a vibe: cloudy mornings, soft light on old tiled buildings and the sound of the tram rolling past wet cobblestone roads. I explored outwards too— Cascais, Sintra and Azenhas do Mar — each place offering moody weather and coastal charm.
These locations now live on through this atmospheric European travel print collection that bring a soft, timeless mood into an empty space.
The Algarve without the summer crowds? Dreamy! The beaches felt untouched, the sun popped out just enough to warm the edges of the day, and the colours were soft and natural—like the coast was finally exhaling.
These coastal landscape photography prints capture those quiet in-between moments with golden cliffs, winding paths, and water that shifts from teal to deep blue to purple.
On the inland of the Algarve, in the vineyards, Portuguese grapes ripen under golden skies. I captured one peaceful frame just as a worker bee floated past the vines - sun low, everything still. It felt like time paused for a second.
Porto, although still busy on the streets, has a sense of slowing down in November.
The Douro River looks like a watercolour painting, the buildings are deep in history and narrow alleyways with their sun-dappled windows carry the essence of this layered, soulful city.
Just a short ride out of the city and you find yourself bathing in the reflection of the Atlantic Ocean, with a stunning rugged coastline at your feet and and cool crisp water running through your veins.
A short flight and across the Spanish mainland to Mallorca, where late autumn still has its share of sunshine, but with a coolness that touches the skin, reminding you winter is not far away.
Only having a few short days, our hosts ensured we saw the the best of this incredible location. A road trip from Palma to Sóller and back, through the mountain, taking in ocean views and long lunches.
There are also some prints taken from the side of the road as the car broke down (look at 'Villa Amongst the North Wind' and 'Tramuntana Ridge').
Sometimes a capture presents in the most unusual of places!
This part of the collection carries the lightness of laughter, shared meals, tequila, wine, and the spontaneity of adding an extra day, just because we could!
Last but not least, before heading home to the Whitsundays I spent a short time in Barcelona, and more importantly, Montserrat.
Just outside the city, the mountains rise out of the mist like something from a dream. We woke up early and caught it just at the right moment: clouds drifting low, sunlight breaking over the jagged peaks. The light was soft and golden, and for a moment, it felt like I was on another planet.
When I look back on these images captured from that morning, it feels like a deep breath - clouds weaving through the valley, sun catching the peaks, and in the distance, those quiet Catalonia windmills, barely visible in the fog.
These Barcelona mountain photography prints hold a kind of stillness that is very different to the hustle and bustle of the city life just a short drive away. They make you pause, slow down and take it all in.
It's been a joy to curate this collection for you all.
From crafting image titles to descriptions for each and every print - the process takes me back to that very place the image was captured, and this is just one of the reasons I am grateful that I get to call this my job!
I hope you enjoyed reading this latest feature too, and please do explore the full collection here
And stay tuned, there is a black and white addition to this collection that I will release next month.
