Swimming alongside them is a true privilege, and never something I took for granted. The sheer presence of a humpback in the water is enough to take your breath away.
On this particular moment, this curious baby calf swam beneath and around me and my camera, diving into the deep blue below, then rising back to the surface in bursts of energy.
Splashes, flips, and playful passes, a fleeting, heart-expanding encounter, and one that lives on through this very special print.
